Event held in an open space on campus; no prior registration required <\/p>\n<p>As part of the <a href=\"https:\/\/cultura.uc3m.es\/en\/programs\/uc3m-india-week\/\"><strong>UC3M India Week<\/strong><\/a>, the Patio de las Promociones is hosting an event dedicated to <strong>Mehndi<\/strong>, the traditional art of body decoration with henna.<\/p>\n<p>Led by <strong>Nafisa Simran<\/strong>, a guest artist specializing in weddings and cultural events, you\u2019ll have the chance to explore <strong>Mehndi<\/strong>, one of the most recognizable forms of decorative art in Indian culture.<br \/>\nDuring the event, Nafisa will create <strong>henna designs live<\/strong>, demonstrating the creative process and introducing the audience to the cultural and symbolic significance of this tradition.
