Manuel Coves is the conductor and musical director of the project, and Jer\u00f3nimo Mar\u00edn is the assistant conductor. Its members are either current students or alumni of the university. <\/p>\n

Recent projects include major works such as Scheherazade (Rimsky-Korsakov) and Romeo and Juliet (Prokofiev); the complete Beethoven symphonies, the premiere of the musical adaptation of Flori\u00e1n Rey\u2019s 1924 film *La Revoltosa*, concertos for bassoon and orchestra, for four violins and orchestra (Vivaldi), and for trumpet and orchestra (Alexander Arutunian)\u2014always featuring soloists from the UC3M Orchestra, highlighting their talent\u2014as well as *Rhapsody in Blue* and *An American in Paris* (Gershwin). In June 2025, *A Midsummer Night\u2019s Dream* (F. Mendelssohn) premiered in collaboration with the University Theater Group. <\/p>\n
