From <\/span>September 28 through October 2, 2026<\/strong>, Carlos III University of Madrid opens the pages of a travel journal dedicated to India: a journey through its music, dance, languages, flavors, ideas, and major contemporary conversations.<\/span><\/p>\n The <\/span>UC3M India Week<\/strong>, jointly organized by the <\/span>Offices of the Vice Rector for Communication, Culture, and Transparency and for Internationalization<\/strong>, invites the university community, the general public, and\u2014in particular\u2014the residents of <\/span>Getafe, Legan\u00e9s, and Colmenarejo<\/strong> , as well as all citizens of <\/span>Madrid<\/strong>, to explore a diverse, pluralistic, and dynamic India.<\/span><\/p>\n The journey begins with a preliminary presentation at <\/span>Casa Asia<\/strong> and then unfolds across the campuses in <\/span>Getafe, Legan\u00e9s, Puerta de Toledo<\/strong>,<\/span>and Colmenarejo<\/strong>, with a program that combines tradition and modernity: from<\/span>Kathak<\/strong>, Bharatanatyam,<\/strong> Kathakali, and <\/strong> Kalaripayattu<\/strong> to the dialogue between Tagore and Lorca<\/strong>; from live music featuring the tabla, sarangi, and classical Hindustani singing<\/strong> to workshopson Bollywood and Bhangra, yoga, Indian cuisine, and Indian fashion.<\/strong><\/p>\n Each activity serves as a stop along this journey: an invitation to listen to different rhythms, learn new words, sample new flavors, and reflect on India through its many cultural, academic, and social dimensions. Literature, geopolitics, philosophy and religion, international mobility, economics, business, tourism, technology, and artificial intelligence also create spaces for engagement, allowing us to
