"Angry Red Mullet" Concert: June 26, 2026
On Tuesday, May 26, at 10:20 p.m., we encourage you to attend the concert featuring the winners of our university’s soloist and band competition, which will take place in Getafe’s Town Hall Square as part of the 2026 festivities.
WINNING ANGRY RED MULLETS
Salmonetes Enfadados is a musical project that originated in Getafe four years ago and
consists of Filipo (guitarist and vocalist), Yaiza (bassist), and Lu (drummer).
With several EPs and singles under their belt, it’s clear to see the diversity of musical genres
they explore, including twee-pop, tonti-punk, and alternative rock…
They are currently working on a 15-song album set to be released this
year, with a sound that leans more toward emo and shoegaze.
You may have already attended one of the many concerts they’ve performed both
in Getafe and at venues in Madrid (Moby Dick, Café La Palma, Wurlitzer Ballroom,
Siroco, among others). They’ve also brought their music to audiences in other cities,
such as Seville, Toledo, Valencia, Barcelona, Zaragoza…
You have the chance to listen to them and follow them on ” Salmonetes enfadados ” and, of
course, enjoy their energetic live performance on the 26th.
