“Puerta abierta a la cultura” is the cultural program of Carlos III University of Madrid at its Puerta de Toledo Campus, designed as a vibrant space for interaction between the university, artistic creation, and the community. This project aims to establish the campus as a dynamic and collaborative cultural hub where teaching, research, artistic creation, and social engagement converge. With an open and diverse program, “Puerta abierta a la cultura” invites dialogue with the city, fostering synergies with cultural institutions, artists, collectives, and professionals in the arts. The program combines gatherings, talks, workshops, podcast recordings, recitals, and collaborative projects that explore new forms of thought and expression. In short, “Puerta abierta a la cultura UC3M” opens the doors of the campus—and of the university—to culture in all its forms, transforming Puerta de Toledo into a hub of thought, experimentation, and civic engagement in the heart of Madrid.
