The schedule for the UC3M Summer Courses 2026 is complemented by a range of cultural activities that extend the educational experience beyond the classroom and strengthen the connection between the university, contemporary creation, and cultural institutions. This program brings together university theater, dance-film, performance art, the performing arts, new technologies, critical thinking, and visits to leading cultural venues, in dialogue with some of the academic and social themes explored in the summer courses.

The program includes the participation of the UC3M Theater Group with On a night like this, by Luisa Josefina Hernández, directed by Abel González Melo; several productions from the FIVER Festival, focusing on the relationships between dance, film, the body, work, and contemporary audiovisual creation; the event Madrid Node – RedACTS, dedicated to the performing arts and new technologies; and an activity related to AGENCY, an experimental applied research program launched by TBA21–Academy and the Thyssen-Bornemisza National Museum. Taken together, the activities offer a journey through contemporary artistic practices that connect culture, research, memory, technology, community, and social transformation.

All activities offer credit recognition for UC3M students through the Activity Passport. To receive this credit, prior registration in the Activity Passport and a mandatory signature upon completion of the activity.

Note: The minimum age to participate in the courses is 18. In exceptional cases, 17-year-olds who will turn 18 in 2026 may enroll.
