“Action and Thought” University Microcredential: The Conceptualization of a Performance Art Project

This course is designed around a collaborative, group-based approach, so it does not rely on a conventional list of topics to be studied. The course curriculum includes:

• Design and share a performance work plan: objectives, points of reference, and methodology.
• Conduct performative exercises using critical evaluation techniques and references.
• Analyze theoretical materials, both individually and as a group, in a guided reading exercise.
• Share the process with teachers and students, with a particular emphasis on writing a report and documenting the journey undertaken individually and as a group.

Andrea Greppi: Political philosopher. Starting from the theory of democracy, his work has gradually shifted toward the theory of representation, in both its political and aesthetic dimensions. Among his most recent publications are: *Teatrocracia: An Apology for Representation* (Trotta, 2016), *Constitutional Theory and Political Representation* (Marcial Pons, 2022), and *Masks of the Citizen: Figures of Democratic Representation* (Trotta, 2026).

Jaime Vallaure: A key multidisciplinary performance artist in Spain since the early 1990s. Since 2000, he has formed the duo Los Torreznos with Rafael Lamata; the pair is known for their performances, video-actions, and multimedia projects that challenge social norms with humor and forcefulness.

Óscar Cornago Bernal: CSIC researcher , specialist in the performing arts and expanded research-creation practices.

Diana Delgado-Ureña: Ph.D. in Philosophy, specializing in Aesthetics and Art Theory, with a solid background in the performing arts. Since 2011, she has combined teaching with research-creation and curatorial projects, participating in collaborative studies that bridge theory, performing arts, and society.
