Program
No prior experience or musical knowledge is required. The program will be tailored to the group and the activities its members wish to pursue, although the following structure is initially planned:
- Introduction: Breaking the Ice. A simple repertoire of traditional and popular music from different cultures. Body percussion and stage movement.
- Christmas Carols. White Christmas. A repertoire of various styles for celebrating the Christmas season.
- Modern Music. An adapted repertoire of pop and rock music.
- Musical Theater: Music and Performance. A repertoire of some of the most representative works of the musical theater genre, adapted to the group’s capabilities and interests.
Teacher
Marlén Ruiz Martínez
She holds a degree in Music Education and Pedagogy from the Royal Conservatory of Music in Madrid and has extensive teaching experience at institutions of higher education in the performing arts, such as Scaena Carmen Roche and Som Academy. Committed to music and arts education, she carries out her teaching work by leading various projects with a strong socio-educational focus. For years, she has combined her teaching and pedagogical work with that of an advisor and academic coordinator, overseeing the quality and innovation of academic programs and ensuring that teaching needs are continuously met and that academic organizational processes run smoothly.
