The September edition of Música y Margaritas marks the start of a new academic year and transforms the campus of Carlos III University of Madrid into a space where music, creativity, and university life come together. Sponsored by the Office of the Vice Rector for Communication, Culture, and Transparency and organized by students in the Master’s Program in Music Industry and Sound Studies, the festival continues to establish itself as an educational initiative in which learning extends beyond the classroom to take shape as a cultural experience open to the entire university community.

This edition presents a narrative centered on connection and welcome. The festival marks the beginning of a new chapter for thousands of students, especially those entering college for the first time or arriving from other countries through international programs. Music thus becomes a common language capable of forging connections, fostering a sense of community, and strengthening the feeling of belonging on campus.

The lineup brings together Teo Lucadamo, KORASHE, and Curro—three acts representative of the new Spanish music scene—and will feature Salmonetes Enfadados, winners of the University’s 2025–2026 Band Competition, as the festival’s opening act. The lineup combines different styles and backgrounds and showcases artists with their own unique identities, contemporary sounds, and performances that resonate with the university audience.
