As part of the UC3M India Week, the Patio de las Promociones is hosting an event dedicated to Mehndi, the traditional art of body decoration using henna.
The public will have the opportunity to explore this decorative art form—which in India is closely associated with celebrations, festivals, and social events—and discover the motifs and designs created on the skin using henna.
An open and participatory initiative to explore one of the most recognizable visual expressions of Indian culture and take home a fleeting memento of the Week.
