As part of the UC3M India Week, the Patio de las Promociones is hosting an event dedicated to Mehndi, the traditional art of body decoration with henna.
Led by Nafisa Simran, a guest artist specializing in weddings and cultural events, you’ll have the chance to explore Mehndi, one of the most recognizable forms of decorative art in Indian culture.
During the event, Nafisa will create henna designs live, demonstrating the creative process and introducing the audience to the cultural and symbolic significance of this tradition. It’s an opportunity to discover another form of artistic expression—and to take home one of her designs on your skin.
