As part of the UC3M India Week, this roundtable discussion offers a look at India’s extraordinary technological development and the key factors behind its growing prominence in fields such as artificial intelligence, supercomputing, business innovation, digital infrastructure, and the space race.
Why do the world’s leading tech giants have Indian DNA? How do you design a public digital infrastructure capable of scaling to serve more than a billion people? This session will move beyond clichés to analyze the mindset and engineering philosophy that are driving one of the greatest technological transformations of our time.
The event will delve into the heart of India’s technology ecosystem, with a special focus on Bangalore, to explore its work culture, business philosophy, and adaptability—from the dynamism of startups to large technology companies and cutting-edge R&D centers.
The panel will also explore how technology has become a driver of social transformation, its impact on daily life, and the growing role of women in innovation. It will also analyze India’s position in strategic fields such as supercomputing, artificial intelligence, and space exploration—areas characterized by outstanding innovation and efficiency in the use of resources.
