6th UC3M Internal Debate Tournament

The Internal Debate Tournament is the best way to put what you’ve learned in the Academic Debate training into practice, and it offers the opportunity to represent our university in the UC3M National Debate Tournament.

The 6th Internal Debate Tournament will be held on February 18 and 19, 2027.

Registration
  • Students enrolled in the Academic Debate and BP training course organized by the Debate Society are eligible to register.
  • Registration will be open from December 1 through 21, and as stated in the rules, you must be registered to participate.
  • Registration is on an individual basis.
    • People who have already formed their team, or those who wish to join the same team, must notify us within the same timeframe by email at: sociedadebate@uc3m.es, specifying: the team name, the first and last names of the captain, and the names of the other team members.
    • For those who do not have equipment, the organization will provide it so they can participate.

Awards

The winning team will represent the University at the UC3M National Debate Tournament, to be held on April 8 and 9, 2027, which serves as a qualifier for the LEDU and will feature teams from various Spanish universities. Accreditation will be awarded to: the champion and runner-up teams, best opening statement, first and second rebuttals, closing statement, and best speaker.
