Event related to the UC3M India Week 2026.
As part of the UC3M India Week, a mini-workshop dedicated to traditional Indian cuisine is being organized—a hands-on opportunity to explore the flavors, aromas, colors, and textures of one of the world’s most recognizable cuisines.
By Anamika Das, an Indian cooking instructor, participants will discover some basic principles of home cooking in India: the use and combination of spices, the balance of flavors, the importance of sauces and side dishes, and the preparation of dishes designed for sharing.
The workshop will be interactive and will include preparing and tasting a variety of recipes, ranging from appetizers and chutneys to main dishes, breads, rice, and a traditional sweet drink. It will be an intimate, sensory experience that offers a glimpse into Indian culture through its everyday cuisine.
Course with credit recognition for UC3M students through the Activity Passport.
In order for the activity to be counted, you must register in advance in the Activity Passport—in addition to reserving a spot, when applicable—and sign the attendance sheet at the end of the activity.
